VRCS PHOTO CONTEST

Rules for the Theme Plane Photo Contest:

1.  The contest will accept entries from 1 January to 1 December of each year.

2.  To enter a photo, go to the VRCS website menu and select PHOTO CONTEST.  Photos submitted must be in the .jpg format.

3. Each member may enter only one photo and description.  The entries are to be anonymous so no names please. Entries need not be of a new build or current model.  Photos of models made in the past, even if they no longer exist, are still eligible.

4. Once you have entered a photo, it will be reviewed to insure it is suitable for publication and if ok, it will be posted to the Theme Plane photo album. If an entry is rejected the member will be notified as to the reason via eMail.

5. Voting for entries will close on 31 December.  A member may vote for an entry at any time, but it is recommemded that voting be postponed until after 1 December so that all entries can be evaluated.

6.  The previous year's winner will be announced in the March/April issue of the "Vintage Flyer" and on the VRCS website.  The winner will receive a plaque with the winning photo on it, and a one year VR/CS membership extension.

Please note that this year we will accept entries of the 2017 Theme Plane (AstroHog and Astro Bipe through the end of June 2018 and announce winners in the 2018 July/August newsletter

More VRCS Events Needed!  We have numerous events scattered around the country, but there is room for more! We are actively seeking more events and all it takes is one motivated individual to make it happen! If you enjoy flying vintage model aircraft then you are a prime candidate to get a new event going. IT IS EASY - VRCS supports the CD and the club with an event reimbursement for hosting an event. Join the Vintage RC REVOLUTION!
